Loraine has a Diploma in Music from the London College of Music and has over 15 years experience of teaching the piano to pupils from 5 year olds to adults. Lessons always include elements of music theory and aural practice. Pupils will usually study towards ABRSM grades but this is not compulsory if you wish to be just a social player.

Loraine has a degree with the Open University which included courses on the history of music and the study of children's cognitive development; which she uses to good effect in her lessons. Whether you are a beginner, improver or coming back to playing, her friendly and supportive methods will soon have you playing with confidence and for fun!

Loraine is also a Partner in the highly successful 'tots' music group Rhyme-n-Rhythm which is aimed at children between six months and five years of age. By using songs, actions, poems and a variety of percussion instruments, children can learn to appreciate and enjoy rhythm and music.
